Eggplant & Roasted-Red Pepper Terrine

This recipe for Eggplant & Roasted-Red Pepper Terrine is a pain to make. I usually do over 4 of them at a time and freeze them (they keep well in the freezer). But if you feel like spending a day in the kitchen, it's a beautiful, tasty and rewarding dish.

Autobiographical Writing

Last year I started doing some autobiographical writing using LiveJournal. I hate LiveJournal and got through only 4-5 entries before I quite using it. Since no links to these pieces exist here, I thought I'd make them available. They are: Losing and Finding Consciousness, Embodiment, Urban Walking, Up Is Different Than Down, Urban Extremes, and Salvadore Allende and Me. The stories lead up to a backpacking trip, which went just fine. These are the first autobiographical pieces that I've ever written and I have the sense that there's more of them to come.
